πŸŽƒπŸ¬ About Pumpkins & Peppermint

Welcome to Pumpkins & Peppermint, a cozy corner of the internet where fall leaves are always falling, Halloween is never too far away, snow is always in the forecast somewhere, and the Christmas lights never have to come down. πŸŽƒπŸ‘»β„οΈπŸŽ„

This blog was created for people like me who don’t want to enjoy their favorite seasons for only a few weeks each year. I believe you can read a spooky book in July, watch a Christmas movie in April, bake pumpkin treats whenever you feel like it, and bring a little seasonal magic into ordinary days all year long.

Here at Pumpkins & Peppermint, fall, Halloween, winter, and Christmas aren't just dates on a calendar. They're entire worlds filled with stories, traditions, flavors, books, movies, history, folklore, creativity, and places waiting to be explored.

πŸ‚ A Life Inspired by the Seasons

One of the biggest ideas behind this blog is simple: why wait for your favorite season to start enjoying it?

I want Pumpkins & Peppermint to explore what it means to bring the feelings of fall, Halloween, winter, and Christmas into everyday life.

That might mean creating a cozy seasonal self-care routine, finding pumpkin-scented beauty products, discovering Christmas products in the middle of summer, planning a Halloween movie marathon, reading a snowy fantasy novel, trying a seasonal recipe, decorating a cozy corner, or simply making a warm drink and watching a favorite movie.

On the blog, you can expect content about:

πŸ‚ Cozy fall and autumn living

πŸŽƒ Halloween and spooky season

❄️ Winter lifestyle and cozy living

πŸŽ„ Christmas all year long

🧴 Seasonal beauty, skincare, body care, and self-care

πŸ•―οΈ Cozy routines and seasonal atmosphere

πŸ›οΈ Seasonal shopping finds and product reviews

πŸͺ Recipes, baking experiments, and seasonal drinks

🎨 Creative hobbies, projects, and seasonal ideas

πŸ—“οΈ Bucket lists, challenges, and seasonal traditions

The goal isn't to create a perfect life. It's to find more ways to enjoy the things that make life feel exciting, cozy, interesting, and magical.

πŸ“š Books, Movies & Stories

Stories are a huge part of Pumpkins & Peppermint.

Some of my favorite ways to experience a season are through books, movies, and television. A story can take you to an autumn village, a haunted manor, an enchanted forest, a snowy kingdom, or a Christmas town without ever leaving home.

Here, I'll share:

πŸ“š Seasonal book recommendations

πŸ“– Fall and Halloween reading lists

πŸŽ„ Christmas and winter reading lists

πŸ§™ Fantasy and romantasy recommendations

πŸ‘» Paranormal and supernatural books

πŸ§› Vampire, witch, fae, ghost, and other magical stories

πŸ“š Themed reading challenges and reading lists

Whether I'm discovering an atmospheric fantasy world, a cozy Christmas story, an old ghost tale, or a book inspired by folklore, I want this blog to be a place where we can find our next favorite story together.

πŸ‘» History, Folklore & Legends

Behind so many of our favorite traditions are stories that are much older and stranger than we realize.

I want Pumpkins & Peppermint to explore not only how we celebrate, but also why we celebrate the way we do.

Together, we'll explore topics such as:

πŸ“œ The history of Halloween

πŸŽ„ The history of Christmas

πŸ‚ Ancient autumn and harvest celebrations

❄️ Ancient winter festivals

πŸŽƒ The origins of Halloween traditions

πŸ”” The origins of Christmas traditions

πŸ‘» Ghost stories and haunted traditions

πŸ§™ Witch folklore and history

πŸ§› Vampire legends

🐺 Werewolf folklore

🧚 Fae and fairy legends

🌲 Winter spirits and mysterious seasonal creatures

πŸ•―οΈ Forgotten traditions and old superstitions

🌍 Seasonal celebrations from around the world

☘️ Irish folklore and legends

🏴 Scottish folklore and legends

🏰 Mysterious historical places and stories

Some topics will be cozy and nostalgic. Others will be mysterious, strange, spooky, or even a little dark.

There is always another old tradition to discover and another forgotten story waiting to be told.

✍️ My Books & Writing Journey

Pumpkins & Peppermint is also part of a much bigger creative dream.

I love stories, fictional worlds, fantasy, folklore, mysterious places, and characters who feel as though they could step right off the page.

One day, I hope this blog will also become a home for my own books.

As I write and create, I plan to share parts of that journey, including my inspiration, research, writing progress, fictional worlds, characters, story ideas, and behind-the-scenes moments from the creative process.

I dream of creating stories filled with things like:

πŸ‚ Enchanted autumn forests

πŸŽƒ Mysterious Halloween towns

πŸ‘» Ghosts and supernatural mysteries

πŸ§› Vampires and paranormal worlds

🧚 Fae and magical folklore

🏰 Gothic castles and mysterious manors

❄️ Snow-covered fantasy worlds

πŸŽ„ Magical Christmas towns

🌲 Ancient forests and forgotten legends

πŸ“œ History, mythology, and folklore-inspired adventures

There are many stories I haven't written yet and fictional worlds I haven't discovered yet, but I hope to share that journey here as they begin to take shape.

🌍 Future Adventures

Another dream behind Pumpkins & Peppermint is to eventually explore the places where seasonal magic, history, and folklore come alive.

One day, I hope to share adventures to places such as:

πŸŽ„ Christmas towns and villages

πŸŽƒ Halloween destinations

πŸ‚ Beautiful autumn locations

❄️ Snowy winter towns

🎁 Christmas markets

🏰 Historic castles and manors

πŸ‘» Haunted and legendary places

πŸ“œ Folklore locations

🌲 Ancient forests and mysterious landscapes

πŸŽͺ Seasonal festivals and celebrations

☘️ Places connected to Irish history and folklore

🏴 Places connected to Scottish history and folklore

I want to experience these places, learn their stories, explore their traditions, and bring those adventures back to Pumpkins & Peppermint.

For now, the journey begins here.

πŸŽƒπŸ¬ More Than a Seasonal Blog

At its heart, Pumpkins & Peppermint is about creating a life around the things you genuinely love.

It's about allowing yourself to be excited about Halloween before October.

It's about watching Christmas movies when everyone else says it's too early.

It's about reading snowy books during warm weather and spooky stories whenever the mood strikes.

It's about discovering why people told ghost stories around winter fires, where familiar traditions came from, and how old legends continue to influence the stories we tell today.

It's about reading more books, watching more stories, learning about history, exploring folklore, trying new things, creating new traditions, writing fictional worlds, and eventually going on real adventures.

There is no rule saying seasonal magic has to disappear when the calendar changes.

β˜• Stay Awhile

So whether you came here looking for your next spooky read, a Christmas movie recommendation, a seasonal beauty find, an old winter legend, the history of a Halloween tradition, a cozy recipe, or simply a place where no one will tell you it's too early to celebrateβ€”I hope you'll find something here that makes your day a little more magical.

Make yourself a pumpkin spice drink, pour a mug of peppermint hot chocolate, pick up a good book, and stay awhile. β˜•πŸ“š

πŸŽƒ The pumpkins are always glowing.

πŸ‘» The ghost stories are always welcome.

πŸ‚ The leaves are always falling.

❄️ The snow is always beginning to fall.

πŸŽ„ And the Christmas lights never have to come down.

Welcome to Pumpkins & Peppermintβ€”where it's always spooky season or Christmas. πŸŽƒπŸ¬β„οΈπŸŽ„
